About Pro Academ Tours RD

Pro Academ Tours RD is a small, independent specialist travel company, officially licensed by the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic. We create tailor-made vacations and educational guided tours across the Dominican Republic, offering travelers the opportunity to discover diverse destinations beyond the traditional tourist areas. We welcome independent travelers and groups of different ages, and interests.

Our leadership team holds university degrees in hospitality, tourism, education, linguistics, and cross-cultural communication. This academic and professional background allows us to create journeys that go beyond sightseeing and provide meaningful opportunities to experience Dominican culture, history, nature, and everyday life.

Our Approach

Pro Academ Tours RD was created to offer authentic experiences that bring together education, culture, and adventure. Our approach is personal and flexible, with a particular focus on Dominican Educational Projects and Small Private Groups. We are passionate about Dominican culture, nature, agriculture, and ecotourism, and enjoy helping travelers discover destinations and activities that reflect their individual interests — from history and cultural exploration to outdoor activities and active adventures.

Above all, we want our guests to feel less like customers and more like friends visiting us in the Dominican Republic.
